Mixter Maxter Pops up at The Princes’ Trust Tomorrow Store, London
This October Scottish knit brand Mixter Maxter launches their new collection at The Prince’s Trust Shop, The Tomorrow‘s Store in London. The Pop-up takes place over UK Wool Week (7th – 22 October 2017)
Starting out in business designer Kirsteen Stewart was supported by the Princes’ Trust. With her newest brand, Mixter Maxter Knitwear, Kirsteen has been working this year to bring the latest collection along with a collaboration with Age Scotland to fruition for Autumn/Winter 2017.
Opening on the 2nd of October the Mixter Maxter Knitwear Pop up at The Tomorrow’s Store will stock a range of the newest collection including Scottish lambswool jumper and jumper dresses idea for autumn alongside the most popular accessories including the twist scarf. Earlier this year the brand encouraged by parents who wore the brand themselves to create a range of children including smaller accessories in bold colours and geometric shapes.
The pop- up will also include the collaboration with Age Scotland a project that asks social groups including the Women’s Rural Institute to donate their time to make products as well as enjoy a social occasion.
Earlier this year Mixter Maxter put a call out to local groups including the WRI asking them to take part and donate a two-hour session to make Pompoms. Mixter Maxter provided the kits as well as training everyone who attended how to make the ultimate pompom.
Mixter Maxter will be holding a Pompom making day for all those who would like to involved on Thursday the 5th of October from 1-4pm
The Campaign for Wool’s annual Wool Week, who’s patron is HRH The Prince of Wales, will mark its eighth year with an extended programme of events, exhibitions and interactive consumer moments with an exciting line-up of activities and initiatives designed to educate, inspire and promote the benefits of wool. This will run across sixteen days from the 7th – 22nd October.
The full range of products including a hat with interchangeable Pompoms will be available launched at Tomorrow’s Store from the 2nd 30th of October.
